Helbio S.A. has received an order from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Helbio will be constructing a fuel cell system able to operate with the customer’s fuel processor, previously manufactured and purchased by Helbio. Mr. Jae-chung Ha from Vastek Group visited Helbio's facilities at Patras Science Park in Rio, Greece for receiving a demonstration of the CHP unit, H2PS -5, which is manufactured by Helbio. Mr. Jae-chung Ha acts as a distributor for the CHP unit, H2PS -5 in South Korea. The European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot and Equinor partnered for a business acceleration event in Oslo, Norway. HELBIO was one of the companies selected to pitch and engage in in-depth discussions with Equinor corporate representatives and investors. Helbio S.A. has entered into a co-development agreement with Prudensco Integrated Systems Pvt. Ltd, India to produce a demo APU system. The APU system will be designed to satisfy the needs for clean, stable and quite power production especially for telecommunication applications. On August 3rd 2018, HELBIO S.A. and HYDRO 2 POWER s.r.l. have signed an exclusive distributorship agreement.  HYDRO 2 POWER s.r.l. will be the exclusive distributor for Italy and Spain, of Prometheus-5, the 5 kW CHP micro-cogeneration system. HELBIO has completed successfully the construction, testing and delivery of a 40m3/h hydrogen system for the AutoRe project an EU financed project. HELBIO designed and built the fuel processor, based on proprietary technologies, and integrated it with a PSA so as to produce high purity hydrogen suitable for low temperature PEM fuel cells. Moreover, the necessary control software has been also developed by Helbio and will be implemented using industrial grade PLC.
